For the first time in modern history, workplace demographics now span four generations, meaning that 20-year-old new hires can find themselves working side-by-side with colleagues who are older than they are by 50 years (or even more).

These shifts impact corporate culture since priorities, attitudes and work-styles differ with each generation. According to a survey by Lee Hecht Harrison, more than 60 percent of employers are experiencing intergenerational conflict.

This four-week professional certificate program prepares participants to:

  • Effectively lead, engage and motivate today’s multigenerational workforce
  • Increase retention through clearer communication processes
  • Recruit employees from a variety of age groups
  • Manage collective organizational knowledge in a rapidly changing environment
  • Increase creativity and productivity among the generations
  • Thrive in a hyper-connected world

This program gives participants the opportunity to take this information to practice through interaction with peers and a highly skilled facilitator, in an online ‘your time learning’ environment relating it directly to your individual situation. Approximately eight to ten hours of content per week (readings, discussions and activities).

All you need to participate is access to the Internet; a computer, laptop or iPad; and a mind open to what possibilities await if you utilize your personal strengths to the highest level possible.
