2012 Golf Classic

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2nd Annual Graceland Alumni & Friends Golf Classic!  The 18 hole event took place at the Drumm Farm Golf Course in Independence, Missouri.  A good time was had by all with the proceeds going to support the GU Golf programs under the direction of Kevin Brunner.  Watch for announcements next year so that you can showcase your game alongside other Graceland Alumni & Friends.  Click on a picture to view it larger.

Reception and Candle Lighting

One of the “not to miss” graduation weekend events is the annual Candle Lighting Ceremony which takes place on Saturday night. The tradition dates back some 13 years now and is a symbolic way of welcoming the new alumni into the Graceland family and the Alumni Association. Alumni Board President Karla Fennick led this year’s event with Graceland President John Sellars giving the graduates one more pep talk before they received their diplomas the following day. Make plans to attend next year’s Candle Lighting Ceremony!
