Box Game 1 | Box Game 2
Lamoni, IA-After an out of the ordinary near 80 degree day on Tuesday, the weather for the Jackets game today cooled back into the low 50's. The Jacket bats however, remained hot and Graceland garnered their first conference win of the season snapping a thirteen game losing streak and splitting Wednesday's double header with the Eagles.
Game one went to Central Methodist as they defeated the Jackets 7-5 using a 5 run first inning to catapult them to a win. Game two however, was all Jackets. Graceland combined dominate pitching with great hitting to capture their first conference win, 9-0.
At the time of release stats were not available. Check back for full stats shortly. Graceland now stands at 3-14 overall and 1-3 in HAAC play. They'll next play this weekend at Missouri Valley College in a double header beginning at 1pm. Stay tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage of the baseball team and all of Jacket athletics.
