Joel D. Shrock presides over Graceland University as President. Alongside his highly qualified Executive Council, the leadership team is helping to shape the institution’s future while honoring its rich history.
About Graceland
Dr. Shrock earned his PhD in U.S. History from Miami University. He studied Middle Eastern culture, politics and history in Oman and the UAE. He served as Provost and Dean of the School of Humanities and Behavioral Science at Anderson University, Indiana, where he also is Professor Emeritus of History. At Graceland, Shrock previously held the roles of Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty.
Graceland University is overseen by an active Board of Trustees made of alumni and professionals whose love of Graceland is exhibited in their service to the institution.
