Please plan to join us in Lamoni in celebration of the Ring of Honor inductees; Jeff Douglas ’84 DB and Herbert Goodman ’99 RB.

We’ll honor these exceptional individuals, recognizing their hard work, leadership, and dedication to Graceland’s football team. These honorees will be celebrated on September 14, 2024, during a special Ring of Honor Day at Graceland.

Ring of Honor Celebration Schedule

10:30 a.m. – Ceremony Brunch at the Harpham Heritage Chapel: Registered football alumni will be able to gather and celebrate the nominees. Speakers will include the GFAA President and the inductees. Please be on time or early and dress business casual. (No hats, hoodies, jeans)

12:00-1:00 p.m. – Tailgating and social hour in the pavilion inside the field’s north gate before the 1 p.m. against Central Methodist.

Halftime– All former football alumni and the GFAA Ring of Honor awardees will be introduced at halftime on the Hunstman field.

Post Game Bonfire – Join us for a bonfire and refreshments on the McDowell Commons lawn after the game to engage with students and celebrate being Yellowjackets!

It is an exciting new era for the Yellowjacket football program at Graceland.

In response to alumni suggestions, Graceland established the official Graceland Football Alumni Association (GFAA) in spring 2022. This group helps to coordinate communication between the football program and alumni as well as support official football alumni events throughout the year. A lot of work has already been accomplished but we need YOUR help.

Our Mission

The mission of the Graceland Football Alumni Association (GFAA) is to reconnect with former Graceland players, foster a sense of community among football alumni, and organize events to gather and strengthen those connections. Through collaboration and camaraderie, we strive to build a strong and united network of Graceland football alumni that celebrates our shared experiences and contributes to the continued excellence of our beloved program.
