Ioseb Gabelaia publishes book chapter on empowering women entrepreneurs in the green economy.
The chapter Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in the Green Economy: A Qualitative Research by Ioseb Gabelaia, PhD, has successfully passed the editorial review phase for the book Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Family Business for Women’s Empowerment, with publication expected in February 2025.
Gabelaia’s research explores women entrepreneurs’ transformative power in driving sustainability and shaping the green economy. Moreover, his chapter addresses four research questions:
To what extent
• Do gender-inclusive strategies positively impact the growth of women-led startups in the green economy?
• Are women-led startups likelier to adopt sustainable business practices than male-led startups?
• Is access to funding and mentorship an essential determinant of the success of women entrepreneurs in the green economy?
• Do gender biases and cultural norms negatively influence the scalability of women-led startups in the green economy?
Gabelaia wants to thank Dr. Iza Gigauri for the opportunity to contribute to the book.
