The Department of Natural and Physical Sciences at Graceland University seeks candidates for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position to start August 14, 2025.
The candidate should have a PhD (ABD is acceptable) in physical chemistry, chemical physics, or extremely related field at the time of appointment (MS candidates will be considered for a Non-tenure Track Assistant Professor term position).
Primary duties include: teaching of courses in physics (including laboratories), physical chemistry (including laboratories), courses in the general education program, and some laboratory preparation/equipment maintenance. Other duties include but are not limited to, mentoring senior research projects, advising students, help with recruiting new students continued professional development, serving on department and university committees, and providing other service to the university.
