Systems Analyst

Graceland University Information Technology Services (ITS) team seeks a System Analyst to play a key role in the transition to Oracle Cloud. This team member will assist
with seamless integration and optimization of Oracle with other university systems. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with a small team of colleagues to ensure the ITS Strategic Plan aligns with the Institution’s strategic initiatives and consistently moves forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on day-to-day administration and configuration of Oracle Cloud
• Focus on the SIS (Student Information System) implementation and integrations
• Assist with user support and training across the campus
• Create and manage the delivery of KPIs (key performance indictors) and custom Dashboards through ongoing, robust analytics
• Work with the team to develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to the education sector

Qualifications and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or master’s preferred
• Experience with Oracle Cloud, Slate, Jenzabar CX, SQL, Microsoft, or IBM Cognos desired
• An understanding of education operations and technology requirements
• Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations in the education sector
