Dr. Kevin Brunner and 11 Ackerley Scholars attended the annual Midwest Instruction and Computing Symposium held April 1 and 2 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The scholars competed in the programming contest and listened to scholarly presentations given by both students and professors. They toured the building and saw ROSIE the super computer in action. An added bonus for the trip was a workshop about machine learning where all the students performed some computing activities using ROSIE.
