Steven Anders carries international fellowship forward as consultant to the government’s educational exchange program
For the fourth year in a row now, Distinguished Professor of Economics Steven Anders, PhD, served as a consultant to Fulbright by conducting the technical review of applications in the field of Economics.
In the selection process for the 2024-2025 Egyptian Student Program, Anders oversaw the specialized second screening stage. He evaluated student proposals – consisting of a research/study objective statement and a career development statement – for advancement to the personal interview stage.
A two-time Fulbright award recipient himself, Anders is very glad to carry his fellowship experience and subject matter passion forward by supporting the U.S. government’s flagship program for international educational exchange.
His own Fulbright Scholar journey took him to Kosovo in 2014 and 2016. There, he taught and developed intermediate economic theory courses at the University of Prishtina (Universiteti i Prishtinës “Hasan Prishtina”) and continued to foster the long-standing academic ties between Graceland University and its Kosovo alumni base.
