What do cats and humans have in common?

An article titled “Aquinas, a Cat, and Me” by Anthony Chvala-Smith, Associate Prof. of Religion, was published in the March-April edition of the Herald (168:38-40). In this piece, Tony describes how time spent with a cat became the occasion for exploring St. Thomas Aquinas’ understanding of the nature of being and the sacredness of creation.
