Graceland University Visiting Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands Christopher Brandt, DMA

Graceland University Visiting Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands Christopher Brandt, DMA, accompanied three Graceland band students to the Iowa Music Educators Association Conference Nov.14-16 in Ames, Iowa. Bobbie Moore, Audry Briggs and Ben Long each represented the university as members of the Iowa intercollegiate honor band. The honor band is made up of the top collegiate musicians from across the state. Students in the band worked with nationally renowned conductor and clinician Dr. Carolyn Barber from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Following two days of intense rehearsals and workshops, the ensemble presented a public concert.
