The Transport and Telecommunications Institute organized the conference, and Dr. Gabelaia presented two scientific research papers.
The first research topic was “The impact of User-generated Content on Customer Purchase Intentions of Online shoppers.” The research aimed to explore the relevance of user-generated content on the purchase intentions of online shoppers and identify the main factors influencing online purchase decisions. The second research topic was “Effective Change Management and Continuous Improvements on Smart Governments,” co-authored with Graceland University Business Administration Alumni ’16, Abdelrahman Sherif, which focused on how to use a smart government to connect people and services more effectively. Both research papers were selected for publication.
This is Gabelaia’s fourth year participating in this conference, and he said, “it was so nice to be welcomed back. I am grateful to the institution for organizing such a wonderful event.”
While in Latvia, Dr. Gabelaia also delivered lectures at RISEBA University of Applied Sciences on “Persuasive Communication in Digital Age.” He looks forward to future collaboration with European schools in fields such as Business, Marketing, and Data Science.
