Graceland University Nursing has been ranked among the Best Programs in both Iowa and Missouri for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The program was ranked at number six in Iowa and number nine in Missouri by RegisteredNursing.org.
To determine the rankings, they looked for schools that support students toward licensure and beyond, specifically through current and historical NCLEX-RN “pass rates,” the exam required for licensure and used by all state boards of nursing across the U.S. to help assess students’ competency. Programs reviewed include schools that offer an Associate in Nursing (ADN/ASN), BSN, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree.
“I credit the faculty, staff and students for these much-deserved rankings!” expressed Claudia Horton, PhD, Dean of the Graceland University School of Nursing. “They work together to facilitate student success in our fast-paced 18-month program. Feedback from our clinical partners validate that our graduates are professional and well prepared as new graduates. I am proud to be an alumna as well as the Dean of the School of Nursing.”
