Graceland students will have the opportunity to be inspired by a special speaker on Graceland’s Lamoni campus Monday, Sept. 21, and they are encouraged to attend.
In conjunction with the Graceland University College Fair on Sept. 21, and with financial support from the Youth Launch Commission grant funds, highly-regarded motivational speaker Mark Lindquist will present “Passion! Eight Steps to Find Yours” at 11 a.m. in the Shaw Family Auditorium in Shaw Center.
Lindquist will offer a powerful message, in an entertaining and engaging way, about the importance of finding what matters in life. Students who attend this event will come away enriched and energized about their future. The event will be held in Shaw Center, Graceland’s visual and performing arts center.
Additionally, as part of Graceland’s Constitution Day activities, Iowa 2nd District Congressman David Loebsack will be present at 1 p.m. in Carol Hall and be available to visit with students in the Shaw Center after his presentation. Students attending the college fair on campus that day will also have the opportunity to experience each of these events.
