Julia Franklin Receives NEA Grant for New Project

Graceland University Professor of Art Julia Franklin, MFA, was awarded a $3,000 project grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The federal dollars are distributed by the Iowa Arts Council and help fund experimental projects. Franklin will work with the Oskaloosa Art Center and Theatre to produce “Belonging(s),” an immersive performance piece that will merge art and theatre and allow the audience and actors to interact. Look for the debut of this new work in March and April 2020.
