Graceland University Associate Professor of Business Max Pitt, MBA, attended “Cover Crop Boot Camp” Dec. 3 and 4. This virtual seminar was hosted by Practical Farmers of Iowa (PFI), an organization based in Ames, Iowa, and helping the next generation of farmers to succeed through on-farm research, educational events, networking and data-based publications.

Pitt will be a panelist in PFI’s virtual annual conference Jan. 21. “Two for One: Cover Crop Seeding Equipment to Save Passes” will compare the drill combine with air seeding via a vertical tillage implement and with a seed box mounted on a combine head.
