Graceland University Instructor of Percussion and Director of Athletic Bands Melinda Leoce, MM, was recently voted as president of the Iowa chapter of the Percussive Arts Society. The president serves a three-year term and is charged with planning and implementing the Iowa Day of Percussion, a yearly event that usually occurs at the end of the spring semester. Leoce has been a member of the Percussive Arts Society since 2006.
