Graceland is excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Miriam Dozier as the Director of Human Resources. Dozier joins the University to help in building an aspiring culture for its faculty and staff.
Dozier brings over 30 years of human resources expertise to the position. She holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University, two master’s degrees from Webster University, and she completed her undergraduate studies at Wichita State University. Dozier starts full-time on February 1, 2023, and will be based on Graceland’s Independence, Mo. campus. She will regularly spend time on its Lamoni campus as well.
Graceland President Patricia Draves said, “We are very fortunate to have Miriam joining our community to lead human resources. Her experience and expertise will help the University continue to build its aspiring culture of belonging for our staff, faculty, and students. Her talents will be put to work immediately.”
Dozier will report to the Vice President for Business and Finance.
