Quartetto Sonoroso Performs at GU

LAMONI, IOWA (February 21, 2013)—The Graceland University Music Department will present Quartetto Sonoroso in concert on Monday, March 4, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in Graceland University Shaw Center’s new recital hall, Carol Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

Quartetto Sonoroso was formed in 2012 to perform captivating music in an exciting and novel manner. The group consists of celebrated instrumentalists, including saxophonist Dave Camwell, oboist Jillian Camwell, clarinetist Kariann Voigts and bassoonist Mike Eckerty.

Pianist Christy Eckerty often joins the ensemble, and together, Quartetto Sonoroso strives to present meaningful music with passion and pathos.
