Graceland University Assistant Professor of Philosophy Kristin Seemuth Whaley gave a presentation, “Fostering an Active Learning Environment in the Philosophy Classroom,” at the American Association of Philosophy Teachers 22nd Biennial International Workshop-Conference on Teaching Philosophy July 26. Seemuth Whaley also attended 16 other sessions on pedagogy and innovative teaching strategies between July 26-28 as well as a one-day pre-conference workshop July 25 focused on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
