Steve Glazer attended the 11th annual conference of the Midwest World History Association, held this year at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, September 24-25, 2021. He gave a presentation and participated in a roundtable panel on “Teaching World History during an Historic Global Pandemic,” in which he highlighted the use of some OER resources and trauma-informed pedagogies in his World Civ. I and World Civ. II classes. He also chaired a panel on “Consumption and Liberation in the Postwar World” and attended multiple panels and presentations.
He will serve on the 2022 conference planning committee for next year’s conference, to be hosted by Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. He also continues to serve on the MW-WHA’s Executive Council.
