Dr. Holloway teaches content in the DPT curriculum in a variety of areas including, pediatrics, evidence-based practice, and professional competencies.
Dr. Holloway’s clinical work and research has focused on helping children with disabilities participate in the world around them. As faculty, she relishes the opportunity to inspire students to do the same. She also loves interacting with students to facilitate their professional identity formation through her role as Director of Student Affairs.
Dr. Holloway’s goal is to help students become critical thinkers in the field of physical therapy so they can integrate concepts to become quality, evidence-based practitioners. She aims to promote a sense of belonging in the classroom by inviting students to share and consider diverse viewpoints and by using a variety of teaching activities that allow students to capitalize on their individual strengths and abilities, rather than attempt to conform to a set way of learning.
