AGACNP Clinical Track Coordinator, Clinical Assistant Professor in Nursing

I have always known I wanted to be a nurse for as long as I could remember. I am one of four children who are all nurses (3 girls and 1 boy). I have been a nurse for 20 years, a college professor for 14 years and a nurse practitioner for 10 years. I have taught in the bachelor program (BSN) and the master program (MSN).

While being a critical care professor at ASU, I mastered my expertise in nursing simulation. I think simulation plays a vital part in development of nursing skills. Simulation allows students to have hands on practice in a safe environment. I love teaching and being a nurse practitioner.
