After spending 14 years building culture, character, and leadership development through athletics, Zack Mullins now applies those same principles, values, and lessons towards helping students find their path to Graceland as the Executive Director of Admissions. Mullins’ previous roles at Graceland have included Associate Athletic Director, Men’s Head Wrestling Coach, Compliance Coordinator, and Admissions Counselor.
As Men’s Head Wrestling Coach, Mullins received numerous awards, accolades, and accomplishments including being named Heart Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2019, 2020, and 2024, Graceland University Coach of the Year in 2019 and 2020, and Heart of America Athletic Conference Coach of Character of the Year across all conference sports in 2022. Mullins also coached a Scholar National Championship Team in 2021, a two-time national champion, ten all-americans, 34 national qualifiers, and over 35 academic all-american selections.
Prior to Graceland, Mullins graduated from Briar Cliff University with a Masters of Art in Human Resource Management and a Bachelors of Art in Sports Management. Mullins is originally from Lincoln, Illinois and currently resides in Lamoni, Iowa with his wife, daughter, and son.
